Polli-Tico is a cart that specializes in "pollos a la brasa" (charbroiled chicken) a traditional dish that originated in Lima, Peru. Our authentic Peruvian recipe along with the traditional cooking method and authentic sauce makes our chicken unique and full of flavor.
Our Chicken is slowed cooked in our rotisserie which was imported from Lima, Peru. Our platters resemble a typical "Pollo a la Brasa" that you would find in Peru.
How Polli-Tico came to be
Polli-Tico is owned by two Costa Rican brothers that grew up eating peruvian chicken in the Washington D.C. area.
When they moved to Portland they missed eating the delicious chicken that they had grown up with. Then the idea to make their own Peruvian chicken was born.
They contacted several companies in Lima, Peru and had a custom made rotisserie oven shipped. A couple of months later Polli-Tico opened its doors to the city of Portland, Oregon.
